Following the gold selling success of their debut album, 'The Mad Love', 48May are back and better than ever...

After a string of shows including Big Day Out, Edgefest and X-Air, touring with international acts such as Alien Ant Farm and Grinspoon, and three nationwide tours under their belts, 48May have carved out an illustrious name for themselves in the New Zealand music industry. With the help of their ever-growing and infamously loyal fanbase 'the May Army', the band has collected numerous awards and accolades including 'Video of the Year' and 'People's Choice Award' from Juice TV, and the 'nZM Best New Band Award' from nationwide radio station ZM, amongst many others.

With a blistering new array of songs the Hamilton quartet are already off to a propitious start - performing with U.S band Panic! At The Disco and recording their follow up album under major label Warners. 48May's new material, whilst retaining the dynamic guitar work, driving rhythms and infectious melodies that earned them gold status with their first album, sees a new more mature style of songwriting, both musically and lyrically. The first single ‘Nervous Wreck’ is due to be released on October 9th with the new album 'Streetlights and Shadows' to follow in early 2007.
