Rob's career began in the summer of 2000, when he started getting regular bookings on Sydneys underground rave circuit. From 2002 onwards he was a regular on all rave events and has now secured residencies at Sydney biggest rave parties and was travelling interstate spreading his unique sounds of hardcore. As Weaver's name became internationally known for his releases, he then toured to NZ and UK playing one of the worlds biggest hardcore events HARDCORE TILL I DIE!

On the production side of things, Rob started in 2002 just as his DJ Career was in full-swing. It wasn't long before he made his mark with his first hit "Come Into My Dream" which signed to the world's #1 hardcore label RAVER BABY RECORDS. From then on his production skills grew, with collaborations with top international producers which has seen his tunes released on all the major CD compilations and on hardcore labels: Nukleuz, Masterwax, Masif, Executive, HHC, Warped Science, This'n'crispy, Next Generation, UK Hardcore and Relentless.

Weaver has become a household name to Rinsed now, having played at the infamous "Warehouse Experiment" and "Together @ Science Alive" events - he never fails to exceed expectations with his floor-filling tunes

For the past 8 years, music has been the passion behind DJ Weaver, from DJing to producing and even working in a local record store. DJ MAIA - Inner Eye WGTN
Hailing from Ireland, Aotearoa is now the home of DJ Maia, where she has been cranking up the energy of the Psytrance scene in Wellington since 2002 as party promoter and DJ. Highly professional, Maia has earned much respect for her technical skills, her dynamic mixing and her ability to interact and connect with the partygoers and really stir up the energy of the dancefloor.

Maia has spun her magic many times for the Wellington crews Inner Eye, Full Om, Psybersonix, and Cosmic Conspiracy amongst others, often teaming up with AJ Hickling, founder of Diwata, to bring a live tribal element into the mix. You may also have caught her cranking out her distinctive sound to the outdoor party scene of the South Island, for M*A*S*S*I*V*E (Christchurch), Stardust (Takaka), Earthrites and Psy'd Show (Nelson) or New Years events Uprising and Full Circle.

Maia's unique sets are drawn from a diverse collection of global electronic music which she has built up since her first involvement in the UK dance music scene of the early 1990s. Depending on the occasion Maia's DJ sets can include an eclectic mix of downbeat, ambient, dub, breaks, progressive, psytrance, funky tribal and underground beats from Aotearoa. Constantly evolving, the soundscapes flow intuitively by being present in the moment.

"The Willows" is a beautiful outdoor setting situated on the banks of the Waimakariri River within a comfortable 15 minutes of Christchurch. To get there, take the West Coast Road and turn right onto Old West Coast Road (just past Yaldhurst), drive for another 10mins and turn right into Thompsons Road (signposted).

A shuttle will be leaving and returning to Cosmic Corner every hour from 8pm for just $5. You can book and pay at Cosmic Corner but be quick as limited spaces are available.
