Evermore, Thirsty Merc & The Electric Confectionaires
Announce a Nationwide All Ages Tour

Evermore have gained some enviable accomplishments in their short career. They have platinum and double platinum sales in NZ and Australia respectively; top 5 selling singles and radio hits in both countries, a New Zealand Music Award, an APRA Silver Scroll, an MTV Video Music Award and five ARIA nominations. Their hit songs ‘It’s Too Late’, ‘Running’ and ‘The Light Surrounding You’ have been wailed word for word by many fans around the country and across the Tasman.

The three lads from Fielding have set up shop in Australia (who are all too quick to claim them as their own) but Evermore wish to announce their return visit home and they’re bringing some Aussies back to even the score!

Evermore’s songs have that rare quality of being contemporary yet timeless. This was made evident by ‘Light Surrounding You’ being chosen as TV One’s current channel theme. The enduring qualities of the songs connect with the subtly audible influences of Bob Dylan, The Beatles and David Bowie. All of whom were played religiously whilst the band recorded their latest album ‘Real Life’.

After countless shows in New Zealand, Australia and the U.S., Evermore are no slugs in the concert arena either, with the ability to captivate the audience sending out music that pulls on the emotions & raises hairs on the back of the neck.

Sydney-siders Thirsty Merc will support Evermore on this tour. With local radio success the band will be arriving post their sophomore album release of ‘Slideshows’. Thirsty Merc will bring their unique blend of pop rock dance-able balladry that will perfectly compliment the spine-tingling ballads of Evermore. Auckland rock and roll wunderkind The Electric Confectionaires rounds this stellar line-up off as the opener for all shows.
