The Septembers
Posted: Mon Aug 20, 2007 4:51 pm
The Septembers launch their namesake month this year by playing The Wine Cellar on Saturday 1st September. The Auckland indie band are currently readying themselves for a string of dates throughout the North Island, ahead of recording their debut album later this year.

Having staked out a sound that mixes the twisted romance of The Smiths with the visceral melodies of Radiohead, The Septembers range across searing acoustic heartbreakers to electrified rock'n'roll.

The Septembers live, deliver their songs as surges of passion and intense
intimacy, as emotional energy shot through with soul, a band that plays as if
this music, is all that matters.
