TOTO are coming!
Posted: Fri Jan 4, 2008 3:57 pm
Hey anybody out there going to TOTO on March 2? They have never toured NZ before and yet songs like Africa, Rosanna, and Hold the line are on the radio daily. It'll be a treat to see the musicians..Steve Lukather and Bobby Kimball are the originals, with Leyland Sklar, Simon Phillips, Greg Phillinganes and Tony Spinner on stage as well. Its gonna be cool. See you at The Civic in Akl!

I'm by no means a fan by any stretch of the imagination, but the song "Africa" is one of the best songs ever written ever ever ever ever.

If it was in ChCh I'd go just for that song. It gave me goosebumps when it came out in 1982 and it still does now.
