Left or Right are a 3 piece band (formally known as Lefty & Righty) raised in the deep south of Invercargill. Now based in Dunedin the band plays their own original music that is described as a chunky mixture of New Zealand Roots, Reggae and Dub with a monstrous kick of Hard Rock and Blues including tight three part harmonies.

Left or Right has been busy gigging The Otago University Hall of Residence circuit and was a feature band at The Bluff Oyster & Southland Seafood Festival 2007. The most recent performance to date was their New years slots at Lake Hawea in Central Otago alongside many top New Zealand acts including Supergroove, The Blackseeds, Anika Moa, The Dudes and The Feelers.

The Left or Right boys went into Albany Street Studios in Dunedin to record the rhythm tracks (drums, bass, guitar) for their debut E.P in October of 2007. They are currently on tour throughout the South Island this summer to anticipate the release in mid 2008.
