AUT University : 3 - 14 March 2008

Spread over two campuses and two weeks, the 2008 AuSM Orientation Festival at the AUT University aims to provide entertainment and enlightenment to a diverse range of students.

Thus the range of performers crosses boundaries from RnB (Spacifix) and Reggae (The Black Seeds) to Dub Rock (KORA) but there's more to an AuSM Orientation than just bands, also part of the programme is Hypnotist Show (Guy Cater), Japanese Drumming Troupe (Tamashii Taiko Drummers), Comedians Jeremy Elwood, Steve Wrigley, The Laughing Samoans and even a Retro Foam Party.

All events are free to AUT students; public tickets to major events are available from Real Groovy Records and the door

Campus Comedy Featuring Steve Wrigley, Cori Gonzales, Jeremy Elwood and Mrs Peacock., Wednesday 5th March, 8PM, Vesbar, City Campus

The Black Seeds + Sons of Zion & DJ Dubhead – Friday 7th March, 8 pm, Hikuwai Plaza, City Campus.

AUT CLUBS DAY – Tuesday 11th March, Free BBQ, Performances, Club Stands and Foozeball Competition
