BLEEDERS HAMILTON SHOW/LINE-UP
Posted: Wed Mar 19, 2008 9:45 pm
Bleeders. Performing Hamilton's Diggers Bar (R.18 ) Friday 11 April w/ Los Muertos and Eqwanox

Catch the current kings of NZ punk/hardcore rock and roll doing what they do best - playing to their mates. Their ethos has always been the same - go to a Bleeders gig or buy a CD and you are one of the gang - no question. Back to satisfy the groundswell of demand from ever loyal fans and fresh from support gigs with AFI, Avenged Sevenfold, Alexisonfire and H.I.M., they are a band on a roll. With popular early singles 'A Bleeding Heart', 'All That Glitters' and 'So Lonely' being followed up by 'Out of Time', 'The Kill', 'Nightmares', 'Silhouettes' and 'Night Sky' and their new self titled CD issuing forth with 'The Black Widow Creeps' and 'She Screamed She Loved Me' their set will rock you till you drop. By their own admission this is an onslaught of true, raw aggression to shake down the complacent masses and the post-emo cynicism consuming current musical trends.

Los Muertos are the product of the fusion of diverse musical lineage resulting in an amalgamated sound of punk hardcore, metal and rock. Their self titled debut release is a mixture of soaring guitars, crushing breakdowns and driving riffs combined with socially aware and politically minded lyrics. First single Spoon Fed is a ripper.

Eqwanox supported legendary Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan in only their fourth gig, have guested at Smokefree Rockquests, organised their own gigs and played with a host of other top kiwi bands. They rounded off last year competing in the National Final of the World Battle of the Bands after taking out both the local and Waikato/ BOP Regional finals. They are currently working on their debut album which contains 10 stellar tracks including Killing Time, Outside, Rock Bottom and Guess I'm Still Alive. Their punk/ grunge tinged rock sound is a universal crowd pleaser. They are also proud supporters of the Child Cancer Foundation, assisting in the running of the 'Fill The House' tickets project which sees tickets to shows made available to allow CCF families some valuable time out.

This will be a show to die for. The Bleeders are back - it's party time! Tickets $15 at the door. Be there!!
