Golden Age is new 2 monthly set of parties spurring a new epoch in entertainment. With unprecedented production levels, experimental art, Golden muse performers, extravagant personal attention, live music and DJs on the forefront of culture this is the dawning of a new era of excess and pure pleasure. You’ll never settle for less again.

Golden Age - Sat April 4th at Cassette Nine
Doors at 10PM / $10 Door Sales only

Ft. Ivanhoe (live) / The Ribbon (live) / Cyril Orson / Daniel Farley / MTron Bomb / Paul Dean

- Back room hosted by Mint Condition. -

IVANHOE
“What is Ivanhoe? It’s your knight in shining armor?
A collective of electronic music producers and guest vocalists/songwriters made up of ‘The Strom Bros,’ ‘Tony Bartlett’ and ‘Moog Voyager, and collaborators such as Steve from ‘Collapsing Cities.’ With current work in the progress with the ‘Seed Trails’ and ‘Nicolas Dee’ these guys are set to amaze!
Electronic/pop/spacerock

THE RIBBON (LIVE)
The Ribbon is the striking new music project of Luke Munn and Campbell Birch. Incorporating keyboards, drum loops, guitar, vocals, and live visuals, this band captivates in a multiplicity of ways. Filled with heartfelt delicacy and awe-inspiring intimacy, their music is ridiculously beautiful.

“Practically hypnotic… builds and builds upon itself, going where you don’t expect before turning yet another direction…one of the best euphoric crescendos ever at about 2min 30 that just keeps going till you die. Or push repeat.” - Andrew Tidball, Cheese On Toast

Cyril Orson
Orson arrived in Auckland three years ago from France and has since caused quite a stir. He’s played along side the best visiting international DJs and stunned the Auckland club scene with his ‘Soniktonik’ nights at Ink and Coherent. Orson collaborates with the Strom brothers of Antix fame on the Triangle project and recently the Triangle tunes have been charting on London’s prestigious Kiss100!

Daniel Farley
Electro DJ and Promoter. Events and promotions include Clockwork, Shake, Chemistry, Thursday Night Tea Party and Winter Wonderland. He’s also brought in a string of ridiculously talented internationals.

MTron Bomb
Is easily Auckland’s DJ du jour. She’s all about fusing get-up Parisian House, the beats and bass, get serious Berlin minimal, and get-the-fucking-party-started New York Disco. Thrashing the latest imports before they’ve hit the street and selecting the wicked from the wack; the true rave from the nu rave!

Paul Dean
Paul Dean has been kicking around New Zealand clubs for too long to mention. Starting his career at the famous ‘BOX’ Paul has always been at the top of his game. Constantly picked as support for only the best international visitors. Paul’s love of cutting edge electronic music and incredible Djing craft always makes his sets a superbly hypnotic performance.
