Musicians band together for local charity concert

Musical talent from all over New Zealand will perform in Orewa for a one-off charity concert, in aid of the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre.

Titled Music for the Children the charity concert at Centrestage Theatre features performances from Auckland Music Theatre, North Shore Music Theatre, Helen Medlyn, Penny Dodd and Hinewehi Mohi.

Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre, New Zealand’s only music therapy centre. The Centre provides music therapy for children with special needs. www.rmtc.org.nz.

Time: 7.30pm

Where: Centrestage Theatre, Centreway Road, Orewa
