Shihad to Tour!
Posted: Mon Nov 22, 2004 8:11 pm
They spent 12 inspiring months in central North Island Ngamatea, Wellington and Melbourne “writing and reconnecting with what it is we love to do”.

Now Shihad is back - in more than name - with the announcement of four
North Island dates to fire up your summer.

The tour gives fans the opportunity to hear new tracks in advance of the band’s sixth album, recorded in Vancouver with Garth Richardson and due for release by Warner Music in May 2005, To whet your appetite an EP with lead track ‘Alive’ hits radio at the end of November.

Supporting are Deja Voodoo (who have just re-recorded their modern classic ‘Today, Tomorrow, Timaru’ with the town’s most famous son, Jordan Luck) and upcoming Christchurch band Degrees K. The dates are presented by The Rock.

Sunday Dec 26 Mt Maunganui Brewers Stadium of Rock
Monday Dec 27 New Plymouth Butlers Reef
Wednesday Dec 29 Waihi Waihi Beach Hotel
Thursday Dec 30 Napier Shed 2 Street Party

Tickets available now from Ticketek, venues and selected Sounds music stores.
