GillaZilla Records announces the upcoming New Zealand tour for American fingerstyle guitarist Richard Gilewitz. He returns to New Zealand for his 12th tour for rousing concerts filled with amazing chops, humor, and a history of the acoustic guitar from blues to folk, traditional to classical and somewhere in between. Gilewitz is a lively entertainer with finger gymnastics while spinning yarns about his outlook on life and touring that are too unbelievable not to be true. His signature style delivers technical diversity of banjo style patterns, classical arpeggios, tapping, along with a rhythmic percussive approach. As this internationally acclaimed solo guitarist forges a new voice to include the expanse of his influences, he offers complex and energetic originals and well-known works that become stories from the guitar.
