Hot on the heels of the premiere of Simon Ogston's documentary about Bill Direen at the Film Festival, come along to a launch party for Bill's Chrysanthemum Storm Bilders 2017 vinyl release. The recordings have been remixed and remastered. The release is a limited edition of 250. Come and party to the original band, a special set by Bill Direen with guests from Auckland and Melbourne, and view a mini-doco of footage from the 2008 tour shot by an underground filmmaker on the road with the band. Plus a short by Paul Janman from his Great South Road epic. Signings and other merchandise available. Albums at the launch come with an A3 printed double side poster of lyrics with photos.

Venue is UFO, 11 Veronica St, New Lynn. August 5th, 8pm. Kids welcome.
