INDIGO BAR

Gather to the fire young un's, and heed ye well
scurvy swabs at thee tale of high sea treachery
lest the foul dread creep over ye...

Desperate was the foolhardy sailor
who set forth upon that terrible unlucky eve
of the thirteenth, for beyond the threats and
joys a hardened hand expects - a pitcher of rum
to swig and gaze starward with, the carefree twinkle
in a cabin boy's eye, or the cruel mark o' the cat 'o nine -

Thoust sets no man in ease, not he who hath seen
the horror of Kraken, or espied hideous swarthy's
sacrifice to the Cthulu, be it that the pirates
embraced to Davey Jones dare not to speak of
doom experienced as was had upon the old
man who shook fist to the gods and slaughtered
the albatross, left to soak, bird hung 'pon neck

Sing the sirens who wail betwixt
razor rocks most foul and cursed

dared sail that eve of thirteen..."

From 8 of the night the godless ship Indigo, helmed by
as many sea worthy dogs as she'll take, with a
worthy shanty bellowing crew of cut-throat miscreants
the likes of which stir fear in ye seaside brothels
and alehouses, set sail in search of elder gods and
star charted lands beyond the dread black sea.

Book ye passage in advance for ten dubloons at
Miss Demeanour or Real Groovy
or drag ye carcass to the dock and cross the palm
of the captain with thirteen unlucky pieces of silver...
