Due to popular demand, Reb Fountain announces her Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland show shifts back to the beautifully restored Mercury Theatre for Saturday, November 14th. Having previously played the Mercury late 2019 for The Others Way Festival, Fountain is looking forward to returning to the historic two-tiered theatre commenting, "I am so very excited to be playing at The Mercury again. It was where the band and I first performed songs off my new record together - we can't wait to bring the album to life in this iconic venue."

All ticket holders for Friday night's November 13th show at The Wine Cellar; Saturday nights November 14th show at Wine Cellar, and previously rescheduled June 19th show at Mercury Theatre, need not do anything. Your tickets are automatically valid for the new November 14th Mercury Theatre date. Fountain's critically acclaimed self-titled new album is out now digitally and in stores today on CD via Flying Nun Records. Vinyl is just around the corner - like so many artists, the effects of Covid continue to meddle with plans and have delayed shipping of the Special Edition and Standard Vinyl. The new release date for the vinyl is Friday 24th July.

“Her voice is clearer, stronger, easily flipping between low, spoken tones and lighter, elevating melodies. The self-titled Flying Nun debut for Reb Fountain is not just a change in direction, it's a powerful artistic flex.” - Sunday Star Times / stuff.co.nz

“It’s a dark, mysterious music Reb Fountain makes; stark chords framing a voice that can switch from a whisper to a wail, and does at various times during this brooding, slow-burner of an album… like some of the best music it doesn’t give up all its secrets at once. There are melodies and meanings here that only repeated listenings will unlock.” - Nick Bollinger Radio NZ National

“We had glimpses of Patti Smith, Lucinda Williams and Nick Cave flashing through a confident and almost defiant Fountain of Reb....what we get is a meticulously produced and engineered album with all the subtleties of a masterpiece. Sparse, but not too sparse. Minimalist folky, but a little jazzed up at times with piano chords and cabaret; and orchestrated as well.” - Radio 13, - 5 Stars

Reb Fountain’s latest release is more than an album: it’s a sonic experience... Her pitching is impeccable, and her timbre is otherworldly.” - Muzic.net.nz - 5 Stars
