Gig & Concert News - Valere Announces Debut NZ 'Chroma' Tour

Valere Announces Debut NZ 'Chroma' Tour

14 May 2021 - 0 Comments

Following the release of her debut album Colours, alt-pop artist Valere is hitting the road for the first time for a four-date tour called 'Chroma'.

Saturday 5 June - Space Academy, Christchurch with MARY.

Friday 25 June - MoveSpace, Auckland with Being.

Saturday 26 June - Two Todman, Wellington

Saturday 3 July - Zeal, Hamilton with Tijay

'Chroma' comes off of a string of shows in 2020 to support Colours, including a sold-out show in Auckland. Joined by local wahine acts, the tour will deliver an intimate and eclectic mix of soul and synth to move audiences.

Tickets go on sale Saturday 8 June from UnderTheRadar.

Ethereal, serene and heartfelt, Valere is Kirikiriroa based songwriter and producer Shana Graham whose palate of warm new wave sounds, R&B melodies and intricate rhythms mesh into arrangements that are "kinetic, yet warmly intimate" (NZ Musician Magazine). An APRA Songhubs alum and International Songwriting Competition semi-finalist, Valere’s debut album Colours garnered spots on ZM, BaseFM and various Spotify playlists including The Local List NZ.
