Jameson today reveals rescheduled plans for its renowned Jameson House of Rounds to cross the ditch, bringing an unforgettable evening of hip-hop, Irish whiskey and community spirit to Auckland’s Galatos on Friday, September 3. Curated by the tastemaking hand of Sniffers, some of New Zealand’s brightest artists including Melodownz, JessB and PollyHill will take the mic, rendering the NZ Jameson House of Rounds debut a must-see.

Having successfully established the Australian series in 2019, and after a COVID induced hiatus, Jameson House of Rounds went back on tour in 2021, visiting beloved Sydney venues in April and May. Now making its way to Auckland’s Galatos, Jameson House of Rounds proudly welcomes West Auckland poet and rapper, Melodownz as one of its two inaugural headliners. From collaborations with Denzel Curry to Brockhampton co-signs, Melodownz output has stayed high achieving and well-loved by New Zealand’s hip-hop community.

Joining him as the co headliner is one of Auckland’s brightest exports, JessB whose trademark sass and mastery of spanning genres from rap, dancehall, reggaeton to garage and electronic too often has crowds enraptured. Having released her acclaimed mixtape, 3 Nights In Amsterdam, adored by radio and tastemakers alike, ensures her fiery and inclusive stage presence is a killer addition to Jameson House Of Rounds.

Adding to the bill is charismatic and expectation-defying artist PollyHill. Her most recent single Sweepstake with Church Leon entered the New Zealand charts with her snarling spoken words, and is a dynamic rollercoaster of energy soon to be matched from the Jameson House of Rounds stage. Finally, sister DJ duo Katayanagi Twins will spin selections from their eclectic collection of most loved tracks.

Jameson House of Rounds proudly supports MusicHelps, a unique New Zealand charity dedicated to facilitating change through music. MusicHelps has invested in more than 70 projects to change the lives of over 60,000 New Zealanders in need, as well as continue to provide emergency assistance to Kiwi music people experiencing hardship and illness.
