Gig & Concert News - Slow Note 2021 line-up announced

Slow Note 2021 line-up announced

05 October 2021 - 0 Comments

The line-up for the much-anticipated all-ages festival happening in Pōneke later this year has been revealed.

Slow Note 2021 will bring together a couple dozen of Aotearoa's most exciting emerging and established artists hosted across a number of homely and humble spaces throughout Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

This year, Slow Note will see artists such as ethereal three-piece Womb, taonga pūoro practitioner Rob Thorne and the breakbeat don Skymning grace various halls and spaces throughout Wellington.

The festival of music and poetry will unfurl across Wellington on 26-28 November at four venues and six stages. Eschewing any particular style or medium, Slow Note is focused on bringing communities together through a shared ethos of connection and emotion.

As an all-ages festival, Slow Note centers community and accessibility, with a view to inspiring reflection and creativity by recognising and appreciating the spaces and communities around us. Slow Note helps widen the path for those who want to discover, explore and connect with new ideas through art.

Limited pre-sale passes are available now from undertheradar.co.nz.

Slow Note 2021 is presented by Upoko Alpine Industries, with thanks to Synthstrom Audible and Wellington City Creative Communities Scheme.
