The Tuning Fork is excited to announce a series of intimate and physically-distanced events across December titled 12 Nights of Christmas. Kicking off this Friday 3 December, The Tuning Fork will host music, comedy and quiz nights to celebrate the return to live events!
With the move to the Covid Protection Framework, The Tuning Fork will be able to host audiences of 100 people to enjoy a specially curated series to end the year on a high note!
Laugh out loud in public for the first time at one of our three intimate Fork N Funny Gala Nights featuring a who’s who of Auckland’s comedians including Chris Parker, Tim Batt, Brynley Stent and Pax Assadi and many more. Enjoy two editions of The Tuning Fork’s The Great Tuning Fork Music Quiz (please email us for quiz bookings), our immensely popular quiz night with Brendon Green that will be a regular occurrence in 2022. The concert series will include special performances from Paige, Carnivorous Plant Society, Deva Mahal, Anna Coddington, Phoebe Rings and Mel Parsons. There will also be a private event for King's College.
In a statement, Spark Arena and The Tuning Fork General Manager, Brendan Hines said:
The Tuning Fork is taking a number of precautions, in accordance with all public health and safety advice, which includes measures such as:
- Vaccine passport: you will be required to have a valid Vaccine Pass to enter The Tuning Fork
- Entry procedures: including contact tracing, Vaccine Pass scanning, changes to conditions of entry and processing times entering the venue
- Venue procedures: including operating at a reduced 100 person capacity, staff wearing essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, physical distancing of patrons, and contactless technologies
- Food and beverage: Drinks and snacks will be available via table service exclusively through TOMO on your mobile phone or other handheld device. No more queues at the bar
