Riffraff Promotions are proud to announce a trip both back in time and looking to the future, when NZ bands old and new come together for this brand-new festival taking place at the Historic Village Green in Tauranga on 12th February. There is something here for everyone, with classic Kiwi bands Zed, Stellar*, Head Like A Hole and Push Push all coming together to make us all think we are back in the Nineties and early 2000’s when we were all so much younger. Songs such as Renegade Fighter, Every Girl, Fish Across Face and Trippin’ will surely be sung by many voices that day.

Before any of those bands even make it to the stage everyone will be getting in fine voice by joining in with Blood Red Sky, one of Aotearoa’s finest cover bands visiting the music of U2.

If that wasn’t enough, Riff Raff are presenting 5 young bands of their own, all of which have been gaining huge praise with recent releases. The reason some of these guys don’t look old enough to shave is because they’re not! They may be young but have already been cutting their teeth with releases and gigs. In fact, Sit Down In Front even had Tiki Taane perform on their latest single and appear in the video for the classic Pixie Caramel.

Any one of these bands could be the next big thing to come out of Aotearoa so it is important to get there early (gates open at 8:30) to get your spot by the stage and ensure you don’t miss out. These bands are The After, SOMA, Powder Chutes, Sit Down In Front and How To Escape Reality.

If that is not enough to get you excited then the whole day will be compered by our MC Mikey Havoc, there will be loads of kai, plenty of drink available and a guarantee of a great time to be had by all.

Entrance to this party is just $85, but there are also VIP and corporate tables available with your own designated rock party right up the front with free food, your own loo and bar, and an invite to the after party to hang with the headliners.
