Blindspott announce West Auckland show for the first time in 16 years

02 June 2022 - 0 Comments

Blindspott have today announced a special West Auckland homecoming show on July 29 at Trust Arena, and their first show in West Auckland in 16 years!

Tickets are on sale now from HERE

Joined by Written by Wolves, the band is beyond excited to play to a home crowd in West Auckland for the first time in nearly two decades.

“Performing at home after 16 years will be f***ing insane! Being able to play for our brothers and sisters out west in a stadium I used to go to as a kid and watch the bands I loved will be a real moment for me,” says Damian Alexander, the band’s lead singer.

“If there is one place I know we will have the show of a lifetime - it’s at home WEST MUTHA F***ING AUCKLAND! The home of the brave!”

The special homecoming show is followed by a run of nationwide tour dates with Auckland being followed by Mount Maunganui on July 30 at Baypark. The tour then picks up in September, taking in Fly Palmy Arena at Palmerston North on September 17; Great Lakes Centre, Taupo on September 23; Exhibition Hall, Tomoana Showgrounds, Hastings on September 24. Then October sees Blindspott hit The Factory, Hamilton, on October 8; Theatre Royal, New Plymouth on October 15; then to the South Island and ITL Stadium, Invercargill on October 20; Dunedin Town Hall, Dunedin, October 21; then finishing up in Christchurch on Saturday October 22 at The Good Home, Ferrymead (outdoors). Electrifying young rock band, Written By Wolves, will join Blindspott on all shows apart from New Plymouth.

Tickets are on sale now, more details HERE
