It's been a long-time coming for talented Auckland creative Silas Futura, and he couldn’t be more thrilled to finally announce the release show for his double-header EP series Rā / Pō, originally released in May.

An eclectic arrangement revealing the duality of human nature, both EP’s celebrate that polarity with the soulful swinging hip-hop beats of Rā contrasting with the introspective, electronic alt-synth world of Pō.

Fans can expect a showcase of track selections from both Rā and Pō, and Silas will also pick fine cuts from his acclaimed debut EP Pluto. Opening the evening is another rising Auckland talent currently making waves – his very special guest and fellow poetic wordsmith LB.

Says Silas, “I haven’t played a headline show since 2019, and if you’ve seen me live before, you know that’s where I’m truly in it. I think playing live has always been the highlight of music for me, so I can’t wait to get back on stage.”

A fearless musical shapeshifter, Silas has always stayed true to exploring his own artistic path, embracing a sweeping range of influences through which he has constantly redefined his sound. This commitment to seeking artistic authenticity lies deep within Silas, and his music reflects this fluid, ever-evolving celebration of his personal growth and creative development.
