Rising Kiwi Country Star Kaylee Bell Announces Debut Headline Show

10 October 2022 - 0 Comments

Eccles Entertainment is elated to announce that local country star Kaylee Bell will be playing her first ever headline show at Auckland’s Tuning Fork on Wednesday 23 November.

The news comes on the back of Kaylee’s stand out set opening for Brad Paisley at Spark Arena on Saturday night. Playing to a packed arena, Kaylee had the audience in the palm of her hand giving fans a taste of what to expect come November 23.

“It is the most full circle and surreal feeling to finally get to headline my own show here in NZ. I feel like country music is starting to grow on this side of the world at rapid pace and having been firmly cemented in this genre my whole life, I am so excited to be part of this change and I can’t wait to celebrate with kiwi fans.” – Kaylee Bell

Bell has also just released her new single Small Town Friday Nights, a celebration of her small town (Waimate) upbringing and the memories she and her friends made as carefree teenagers running amok on Friday nights. Released alongside a video shot in Nashville where she spends a bulk of each year writing, Small Town Friday Nights is the latest in a string of successful singles for Bell.

Earlier this year, her hit Keith written as nod to country music super star and one of her biggest inspirations Keith Urban, topped the Australian country airplay charts for five weeks, plus picked up spins locally on ZM, The Hits and More FM. A proudly independent artist, Bell also featured on this year’s season of The Voice Australia blowing the judges away with her performance of Keith, including judge Keith Urban himself. The video of her performance went viral online racking up over 1.5 million views on YouTube and over 12 million streams on Spotify alone.

There’s much more to Kaylee Bell though. Her 2021 album Silver Linings has just been nominated for Best Country Album at the 2022 Aotearoa Music Awards. She has set the stage alight the world over, playing across the USA, Europe and most recently playing the main stage at the 22,000 capacity sold-out CMC Rocks festival in Queensland. Playing with a full band, this will be Bell’s first ever headline show despite having shared the stage with some heavy hitters including Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and The Chicks.

Joining Bell on support is rising pop singer songwriter Cassie Henderson. A natural storyteller, Cassie’s distinctive voice envelops and invites you into her lyrical world. Her narratives encompass her years of growth, trials and triumphs, and ultimately speak to the young people of her generation. She continues to write some of her most intimate and honest pieces, while developing a live show which feels so personal, that you could be catching up with an old friend.

It’s an absolute privilege to be opening for Kaylee in Auckland, I’m bloody excited. Country music is how I got into singing and song writing, so it’s very close to my heart. Kaylee is so good at what she does, I can’t wait to see her perform and be a part of it all.” – Cassie Henderson

Fans are encouraged to get in early to purchase tickets to see this special show. A star on the rise, Bell is destined for great things, don’t delay, and secure your spot at her debut headline show this November!
