Mel Parsons adds new shows to the 'Slow Burn' tour

Four extra shows have been added to the Mel Parson's Slow Burn Tour to meet regional demand.

Parsons’ tour extends to take in the deep south with shows added in QueenstownWanaka and Oamaru. In addition, Auckland audiences who missed the opportunity to attend Parsons’ acclaimed concert at the Hollywood Theatre will have a second chance with a concert added at the historic Victoria Theatre in Devonport on Saturday November 19.

With five shows completed, the remaining shows on the Slow Burn Tour are:

Saturday October 29 - Christchurch - Isaac Theatre Royal
Friday November 18 - Kerikeri - Turner Centre
Saturday November 19 - Devonport - The Vic Theatre
Sunday November 20 - Hamilton - Nivara Lounge (new date)
Thursday November 24 - Nelson - Theatre Royal
Friday November 25 - New Plymouth - 4th Wall Theatre
Saturday November 26 - Dunedin - Port Chalmers Town Hall
Friday December 9 - Queenstown -Arrowtown Athenaeum Hall
Saturday December 10 - Wanaka - Luggate Hall
Sunday December 11 - Oamaru - Grainstore Gallery

Mel Parsons is one of Aotearoa’s favourite touring acts. The award winning indie-folk artist is touring to celebrate the release of her critically acclaimed new album Slow Burn which debuted at #3 in the Official Top 40 album charts and #2 in the Top 20 NZ album charts.

Parsons’ tour kicked off early October and says “It’s been a long couple of years for everyone so it’s an absolute buzz to finally be getting back on stage sharing music with audiences again… I’m so excited about this new record and bringing it to life with the band."
