Gardens Music Festival Moves to the Auckland Domain - Announces Full Line-up

18 January 2023 - 0 Comments

With just over a week to go until the inaugural Gardens Music Festival, organisers have had to scramble to relocate the event from Victoria Park to Auckland Domain. "Due to damage caused to the grounds by a previous event, Gardens Music Festival will now take place at its new home - the iconic Auckland Domain, and we cannot wait to see everyone there.” says Endeavour Live Co-Founder Kyle Bell.

Endeavour Live successfully ran Spring City Music Festival back in November at Auckland Domain and are confident to do the same on Sunday January 29.

With this announcement comes the exciting news of the full line up. Friends performing alongside Fatboy Slim at the new one day festival include US producer LP Giobbi, Australian hitmakers Peking Duk, dance maestros Set Mo, DJ and producer John Morales, with local support rounded off with Dick Johnson and MissB.

US Producer, DJ and Pianist LP Giobbi was recently announced for Coachella 2023, this will be her first tour of New Zealand. Producer, DJ, pianist, entrepreneur, and activist LP Giobbi is an unstoppable force in the music industry, whose passion for her craft extends far beyond the stage. Since emerging in 2018, the Austin-based piano house queen has played to thousands of fans across the globe, performing on the stages of Coachella, EDC, Firefly, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and ACL, and supporting such heavyweights as Galantis, Sofi Tukker, MK, Fatboy Slim, Madeon, and Diplo.

Peking Duk are an electronic music group made up of music producers Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. The pair first garnered attention in 2012 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit High reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014. Notable festivals Peking Duk have performed include Rhythm and Vines, Falls Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Big Day Out. And fresh from their highlight set at Rhythm and Vines, Australian producers Set Mo return to deliver their addictive dance floor anthems to Gardens Music Festival in Auckland.

John Morales is one of the most recognized names in dance music history, as a Remixer, Producer and DJ. Mixing and producing some of the biggest dance music tracks of all time, as well as DJ’ing at some of the most famous and prestigious venues in the world. And of course, New Zealand’s most recognisable DJ Dick Johnson will be performing, with MissB also taking to the Gardens main stage.
