“…it was that voice that hooked me from the start. From my first listen to ‘Frank”, an album that I would play on repeat daily, I was drawn to her effortless wordplay, her musicality, and the stories and she was able to weave with the distinctive sound…. I have nothing but love for the music of the incomparable Amy Winehouse.” – Lisa Tomlins

Amy Winehouse released two beautifully crafted albums in her short, turbulent but memorable life. Both are rich with love, loss, pathos and humour. Frank, Amy's 2003 debut album drew critical acclaim and landed her comparisons to Sarah Vaughan and Macy Gray. Three years later Amy's sophomore album Back to Black won her five Grammy awards including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Following her untimely death in 2011, Amy has been paid homage to by musicians around the world and this September Back to Black brings you a celebrated collection of some of Amy’s most beloved and remarkable songs.

"After two years of sold-out shows at the Wellington International Jazz Festival, we listened to the people and put together a full evening celebrating Amy Winehouse and her incredible songs! This year we are returning with our incredible 9-piece line-up to celebrate Amy's 40th birthday, it's going to be amazing and emotional, you don't want to miss it!" – Vanessa Stacey
