The Big Day Out and The Rock are bringing Big Day Out tickets and spot prizes to the streets in the final week before the biggest music festival of the summer rolls into Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium.
Parked in leafy Grey Lynn at the corner of Richmond Road and Hakanoa Street, the Big Day Out ticket caravan offers last minute buyers a chance to avoid Auckland CBD traffic and the lure of the city’s red light district in their quest for a ticket to the show.
The caravan is open for business from Thursday 7 January until Thursday 14 January from 8am to 6pm every day and is equipped with eftpos facilities and helpful staff.
They will also be handing out random spot prizes to some ticket buyers including CDs, Big Day Out VIP upgrades and major prizes including a Side of Stage experience, a backstage lunch and chances to win your entire order of Big Day Out tickets for free.
Big Day Out tickets are still available from Ticketmaster on the internet, telephone and elsewhere but the Big Day Out ticket caravan has exclusive spot prizes and the easiest location in town - especially for all westies and drivers.
Tickets from the caravan are $132 plus a booking fee.
Gate sales at Mt Smart Stadium, priced at $150, will be available from 8am on Friday 15 January – so to avoid the queues on the day and the more expensive price, get down to the Big Day Out Ticket Caravan before the show.
