Bay Dreams (North and South) have added rap superstar, Quavo (of Migos) to this season's already stellar line-up; as well as fast-rising star rapper Wax Mustang (Queenstown only) and Drum and Bass icons Delta Heavy (Tauranga only).

It’s been five years in the making since Migos couldn’t make it in 2019, and now Bay Dreams has finally landed one of the biggest names in rap music with Quavo. Amassing billions of streams worldwide, Quavo is not just part of the celebrated rap group Migos (who have given the world songs such as Versace, Stir Fy and Walk It Talk It but a hugely sought-after rapper on his own. Quavo, alongside his own albums, acting roles and BET Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards, has also brought us verses with huge names such as Drake, Post Malone, Pop Smoke, Chance The Rapper, DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber and many more. Quavo will be a set that is not to be missed!

Drum and Bass fans will be gearing up for Delta Heavy for Bay Dreams North. Delta Heavy are so well loved by New Zealand audiences, they’ve sold out every show they’ve ever played here.

And for Bay Dreams South, the rising rap King of Aotearoa, Wax Mustang, is set to impress as he joins the stacked line-up for the South Island leg of the festival.

In good company, the 2024 bill also features an impressive array of local and international electronic artists, featuring Australia’s LUUDE; who’s record Down Under went Platinum in NZ. Fans will know UK DJ Riton from his smash hit Friday (ft. Mufasa & Hypeman), as well as UK Drum and Bass duo Sigma; who’s track Nobody To Love shot to #1 in NZ. Performing for the first time in Aotearoa is UK act Bad Boy Chiller Crew, who are joined on the line-up by UK act Vibe Chemistry b2b Alcemist, Lucille Croft - who recently opened for Netsky, and UK multi-genre DJ Skepsis.

Bay Dreams North 2024 takes place at its new home of the Wharepai Domain in Tauranga on Wednesday January 3 and Bay Dreams South takes place at the Queenstown Event Centre Outdoors in Queenstown on Friday January 5.
