In celebration of the launch of AUT's Manuaku Campus, this is one of those one-off performances that just cannot be missed - A first for NZ Hip Hop.
Up and coming Mangere Producer/ Rapper/ Pianist/ Songwriter Anonymouz is probably the only local urban artist with an active and relevant musical background to stage a one hour set consisting of live Hip Hop, RnB, Mainstream Pop, Classical, Gangster rap and traditional Pacific Gospel.
The show features Anonymouz alongside his crew The Hypnotics performing his originals, as well as Otara rapper Ermehn (whose upcoming album he produced), DJCXL, J Williams & Patriarch (performing DJCXL's "My Love" single which Anonymouz co-produced), vocalist Paul Bob, and his church choir, the St. Pauls Otara SamoanMethodist Choir and Otara SaintsYouth Group.
The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Penny Dodd will be performing their lush arrangements over a killer live band - Dylan Elise on Drums, Semi Leo on Bass, Malcolm Lakatani on Guitar, James Ru Snr on harmonica, Karl Benton on Electric keys and Anonymouz himself on piano.
This is hip hop on another level, so don't miss this unique opportunity to hear his music and production in such an amazing live context!
