Chasing Titans And Monolith Launch Scorched Earth Festival

31 January 2024 - 0 Comments

Auckland heavy hitters, Chasing Titans and Monolith, are joining forces to unveil Scorched Earth – a fresh and dynamic festival showcasing both emerging and established hard rock and metal bands from New Zealand. The first festival this year will showcase the formidable Tāmaki Makaurau heavyweights alongside Unwanted Subject, In Their Image, Act of Vengeance, Afterlight, House of Ousey, and If It Bleeds. Promising four nights of non-stop moshing and headbanging, Scorched Earth 2024 is set to make its mark across Auckland, Hamilton, New Plymouth, and Tauranga.

Fresh from the studio, Chasing Titans has just completed recording their debut album, slated for release through Europe’s Sliptrick Records later this year. Following the recent unveiling of their music video for New Depravity, the final single from their EP, the band exhibits no signs of slowing down and is on track for a monumental 2024.

Monolith, on the other hand, has just unleashed their latest single, Warhead, a hard-hitting track following the success of their previous hit, Destiny Cult. Riding high on the triumph of the recent Blitz festival in Auckland, they are set on dominating the scene this year with lots of shows all across Aotearoa.

Scorched Earth 2024 promises an electrifying experience, offering metal enthusiasts the ultimate kickstart to 2024. Check out the full festival dates below and brace yourselves for an unforgettable ride!
