Gig & Concert News - Underworld and Crookers set to Headline the first 'We Love Sounds' Music Festival

07 April 2010 - 0 Comments

Passionfruit Planet, Sounds and Finely Tuned are proud to present the 7th annual We Love Sounds - Australasia's premier winter music festival.

The promoters of We Love Sounds are excited to announce that Australia's largest winter music festival will be coming to Auckland, New Zealand for the first time ever on Friday 4th June (Queen's Birthday Long Weekend) at The Trusts Stadium Arena.

We Love Sounds began seven years ago with a partnership between We Love Space (Ibiza) and We Love Music (Australia) and has since established a reputation for rocking the Queens Birthday long weekend year on year. The festival is renowned for bringing the biggest international names in electronic music to the Southern Hemisphere, with the likes of Armin Van Buuren, DJ Shadow, Dubfire and Armand Van Helden touring in recent years.

Headlining the festival in 2010 is Underworld, one of the largest electronic acts in the world, ever. Underworld will be performing in Australia and New Zealand with their spectacular, cutting-edge show, 100% LIVE!

Co-headlining the festival is Italian electro duo and leaders of the new wave Crookers, touring their new album "Tons Of Friends", and currently receiving wide acclaim.

LA electro demi-god, Steve Aoki will be showcasing his own label Dim Mak in a large-scale festival format not to be missed. Also notably joining the festival is Holland's Laidback Luke, dubbed the unofficial fourth member of the Swedish House Mafia.

With all shows selling fast, fans should get in quick to avoid missing out.
