and musically impressive shows that I have seen in a long time.” - Faster Louder

There’s no two ways about it; New Zealand has fallen hard for Florence and The Machine. Since her debut visit, as this year’s St Jerome's Laneway Festival stand out act, the passion with which local fans have flocked
to be a part of the Florence and The Machine experience has been electric. Never one to disappoint, Florence and The Machine return to New Zealand this July for an encore show that promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
The Florence and The Machine return tour begins in Auckland on Thursday 29 July at The Trusts Stadium. The tour then moves on to Australia’s premiere winter festival Splendour in the Grass at their brand new
festival site in Woodford, Queensland to play to the masses on Saturday 31st July. Then on to Melbourne for a performance at Festival Hall on Tuesday 3rd August and finishing her East Coast run at Sydney’s
Enmore Theatre on Thursday 5th August. From there, Florence and her band head west to Perth for their final Australian show at Challenge Stadium on Tuesday 10th August.
Tickets for all shows go on sale through the usual outlets on Friday 21st May and are set to be one of the hottest concert tickets of the year. Florence’s Laneway Festival side shows sold out in a matter of minutes,
with more shows added and venues upgraded to contain the hungry masses, so heed the warning this time and get in quick!
Florence began her gentle assault on Australasia as an indie darling and she has since broken through onto radio airwaves across both countries already setting herself up as one of the world’s next female superstars.
The 2009 release “Lungs” has been wholly embraced worldwide, with the BBC calling it “sheer gleeful bliss”, and Mojo exclaiming “This is a brave, bold…record from the kind of talent we should be ecstatically
happy to have around”.
A new two disc plus enhanced video tour edition of the album is out through Universal Music on Monday 24th May.
Off the back of such a stellar debut Down Under, and heavy duty international festival commitments performing at Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde and the Primavera Sound Festival to name a few, Florence Welch
is a woman in demand. In spite of a whirlwind European tour and over a million albums sold in the UK alone, Florence and The Machine still recognises the boundless passion Australasian fans have shown for her.
In July, we are broadening the scope, enlisting bigger venues and welcoming a growing legion of fans to engage with Florence and The Machineon a whole new level. Starring on yet another celebrated Australian
music festival line up and playing a bunch of knock out headline shows, this sweet sounding love affair is about to really fire up.
Bust out your best attire, the UK’s favourite flame haired siren is coming back to town!
