God Is An Astronaut Announce First Ever Tour Of Aotearoa

Valhalla Touring and Bird’s Robe is thrilled to announce the debut New Zealand tour of acclaimed Irish post-rock group God Is An Astronaut. The band will perform shows in Auckland & Wellington In February 2025.

Known globally for their extraordinary live performances, God Is An Astronaut have been a major influence in the experimental rock scene for the past two decades. Their sound and live presentation have laid the blueprint for dozens of bands around the globe.

Formed in 2002, they have released eleven studio albums to date, traversing a broad range of sounds, including psych rock, krautrock, prog, electronica and world music.

Their latest record Embers was released last month through iconic label Napalm Records, acclaimed as a captivating sonic voyage with a wide variety of instrumentation employed to mesmerizing effect.
