New Zealand’s beloved folk trio, Turkey The Bird, is charting new waters as they continue their spirited Men, Fish, Boat album release tour! This weekend promises a memorable musical journey with three special shows in three unique venues across the North Island.
First up, we’re bringing the tunes to Palmerston North’s Globe Theatre on Friday, 1st November. Expect rich harmonies, foot-stomping beats, and a vibrant atmosphere as we kick off the weekend. Known for turning every venue into a folk-fueled celebration, Turkey The Bird will have the Globe hopping!
Then, on Saturday, 2nd November, the magic continues at Ohau Hall, where fans can experience the trio’s signature blend of catchy folk tunes, humor, and storytelling. This rural hall provides an intimate setting that will bring you up close to the band's playful spirit and heartfelt songs.
Finally, it’s time to go full steam ahead with a truly one-of-a-kind performance aboard the Paddle Steamer Waimarie in Whanganui on Sunday, 3rd November! Climb aboard an authentic steam-powered vessel as we play amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Whanganui River. With soulful melodies floating on the breeze, this show promises to be unforgettable.
