Rhythm and Alps New Year’s Festival Timetable Announced

Get ready for the ultimate way to ring in the New Year at Rhythm and Alps, the South Island's biggest festival! Gates open on December 30 for two jam-packed days of legendary talent, with 10,000 attendees expected and over 6,000 campers set to soak up the vibes.

The South Island’s The Beatniks will kick off the action on the Alpine stage at 4pm, bringing their infectious alt-rock sound to set the tone for an epic two-day celebration. Following them, catch some fire-talent from The Butlers, Sir Dave Dobbyn, Bag Raiders, and Issey Cross, before EDM-pop sensation Becky Hill delivers an exclusive New Zealand festival performance at 11pm. Andy C and X Club will close out the evening on the Alpine stage with heavy bass drops.

As the clock ticks down to midnight on December 31, the Dig The Gig winners, Single Malt, will take the stage at 4pm. The incredible main-stage lineup continues into the long summer evening with Cassie Henderson, Wax Mustang, Elemeno P, and Lime Cordiale. Shapeshifter will ring in 2025 with the South Island’s largest fireworks display, joined by a special guest appearance from Dom Littrich. To wrap up the mainstage New Year’s Eve celebrations, Montell2099 will bring the beats!

This year, there are two exciting new stages to explore. The fully covered, audience-named "Jeff" marquee stage will host impressive performances from some of the hottest names in music On December 30th, catch Rova, Oppidan, and Charlotte Plank, while on the 31st, Big Twisty, Aroha, Mincy and Sin and Brooke will take the stage. Meanwhile, the brand-new Mansion stage promises all-night-long takeovers, with All Good Things on the 30th and Limitless Touring on the 31st.

For those who aren’t ready to call it a night, The Logg Cabin will keep the party going until 6am on January 1, 2025.
