Dukes are celebrating the launch of their album with three shows in Christchurch, New Plymouth and Auckland.
The band formed a few years ago but reached a higher profile with the success of their singles ‘Vampires’ and ‘Self Control’ – the former going Top 10 and spending around 14 months in the airplay charts.
Dukes won MTV’s Kickstart competition, ‘Up and Coming Band’ on Myspace and Video of the Year for Vampires at the 2010 Juice Awards. They have played in support of bands such as Gomez, INXS, Dave Dobbyn, Midnight Youth and The Checks.
