Featuring:
John EgenesHana Fahy & Erica, Julian Temple, Rob & Tahu

The Rusty String Sessions is a live music platform for talented and diverse local singer/songwriters to perform in an intimate and hospitable environment. Hosted at the renowned historic Carey’s Bay Hotel, these sessions offer a range of music genres to suit the West Harbour and surrounding residents.
Organisers say, "The aim of Rusty Strings is to build and strengthen the musical and artistic community centred around the Port Chalmers/Carey’s Bay area and to eventually provide a platform for local, national and international performers of all kinds to display their work to an appreciative audience”.

The latest album “Balance Escapes” was released October the 8th, 2010. A consistently entertaining performer and gifted songwriter, Temple will thrive in the Rusty Strings acoustic setting.
