Canada’s long serving Kings of Punk - D.O.A - have been at the forefront of the punk rock counterculture, and have been happily slashing away at all manner of philosophical enemies for decades. Fast-forward to March 2011 and D.O.A will be blasting through a series of live shows and bringing their trade mark scathing punk anthems to Australia and New Zealand.
Led by the inexhaustible Joey “Shithead” Keithly since their inception, D.O.A have never been more active (or energetic) having recently released their (lucky) 13th album and third DVD. Keithly has quite rightly developed a hard earned reputation as an impressive front man the world over. Audiences can look forward to honest, world-class live performances that have been honed on a long and prosperous road that has taken D.O.A around the world many times over.
Tickets to all shows are strictly limited and an extremely affordable $25 + b/f (only $10 for the Sunday shows) which means this must surely be the best value punk rock show of the year.
