Christmas comes early for fans of Lloyd Cole with news that he is bringing his band to New Zealand for the first time.

UK legend Lloyd Cole brings his playing partners Matt Cullen and Mark Schwaber to New Zealand for five concerts in February.

The Lloyd Cole Small Ensemble head to New Zealand and Australia after a string of critically heralded shows around Europe in support of his new album Broken Record.
 
New Zealand dates are:

Dunedin: Glenroy Auditorium, Thursday Feb 3rd (Ticket Direct)
Christchurch: Isaac Theatre Royal, Friday Feb 4th (Ticketek)
Auckland, Mercury Theatre, Saturday Feb 5th (Ticketmaster and Real Groovy)
Wellington: Paramount Theatre, Monday Feb 7th (Ticketek)
Napier: The Cabana, Tuesday Feb 8th (Ticketek).
 
Cole and band will play two enticing sets for fans, with songs stretching back to early Lloyd Cole and the Commotions albums like Rattlesnakes and Easy Pieces, right through to this year’s acclaimed release, Broken Record.

Songs like Lost Weekend, Perfect Skin, Are You Ready To Be Heartbroken, Jennifer She Said, and Like Lovers Do have helped Lloyd Cole gain five Top 20 UK albums, and a place in the hearts of fans wordwide.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale from TODAY for ‘My Ticketek’ and ‘My Ticketmaster’ members, tomorrow (Thursday) for the Dunedin show from Ticket Direct.

General public sales for all five concerts begin Monday December 20th.
