Able Touring is thrilled to announce that legendary American R&B singer and record producer JOE is coming to New Zealand to perform one show only at Auckland’s Vector Arena on Thursday September 15.
JOE’s smooth and sultry R&B tones alongside occasional hip-hop beats have earned him a successful career spanning eight studio albums, countless platinum and gold sales, plus seven Grammy Award nominations. JOE has collaborated with stars such as Mariah Carey, Keith Sweat, Nas and Fabolous and has produced / worked with many artists including Barry White, Tina Turner and R Kelly.
Influenced by soul legends such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye and contemporary stars such as Bobby Brown and Keith Sweat, JOE writes songs about love and ‘good, bad & sexy’ relationships!
His second breakthrough album All That I Am, went platinum in the US and produced the hits All the Things Your Man Won't Do and Don't Wanna Be a Player (from the Booty Call Soundtrack), while his My Name Is Joe album featured the hit singles I Wanna Know and Stutter and sold more than three million copies. Five more albums followed, including And Then...- the single Ride Wit U was collaboration with G Unit. His new album, The Good, The Bad, The Sexy, will be available from August 31 and NZ audiences will be some of the first in the world to hear these stunning new songs.
JOE’s sell-out tour of Australia four years ago left no doubt as to why he continues to be one of the best R&B artists in music today. For the very first time in New Zealand, JOE will be performing all his hits plus tracks from his new album in an amazing two hour set of soul, funk, R&B and hip hop. This is an essential show for all R&B fans so don’t miss out!
