Lindon Puffin releases his third studio album ‘Hope Holiday’ today.
Produced by Wayne Bell and engineered, mixed and mastered by Oliver Harmer at The Lab, this album of confident, beautifully crafted pop songs transports the listener with ease through various musical genres with the help of such esteemed musicians as Wayne Bell, Jol Mulholland, Brett Adams and Victoria Girling-Butcher.
The first single ‘Outta Reach’ is an upbeat breezy guitar driven pop track that conjures imagery of youth, hope, excitement, the onset of summer and all the possibilities the season encompasses.
The video was to be filmed last February in Lyttelton, however the pub earmarked for the film’s location perished in the earthquake of February 22nd along with Lindon’s best laid plans.
“I stuck around to help family and friends get through a formidable winter,” states Puffin. “And slowly but surely the desire returned to put the album out and play some music”
The current video presents Lindon strolling the streets of Lyttelton - the backdrop a subtle reminder of the natural disasters recently endured.
‘Hope Holiday’ is released through Rhythm Method NZ and DRM NZ.
