Gig & Concert News - Captain Sergeant Major Announce Auckland Shows
10 January 2012 - 0 Comments
Captain Sergeant Major are an anomaly in today’s era of flash in the pan hype bands and twittering indie celebrities. Eschewing imitation for consistence, longevity and innovation the Wellington trio have steadfastly built up a loyal underground following in their home-town during their eleven year existence. That’s right eleven years! And no auto-tune albums, no band break-ups not even any tours outside of our nation’s capital. Until now that is...
Hell is Now Love is very proud to present Captain Sergeant Major’s first ever Auckland shows. That capital’s finest math rock aficionados will bring their epic combination of heavy rhythms, obtuse arrangements and incredible volume to Whammy bar on the 19th January and Lucha Lounge on the 20th January. They will be joined by comrades
God Bows To Math,
Parents and last minute addition (all the way from Berlin)
Zwanzig Meter Breit at Whammy and
Lost Rockets,
Used to be Apes and
Project H (up from Wellington for the night) at Lucha Lounge.
