Static Era release ‘The Start’ EP and video on Saturday 12th May 2012.

Static Era will be releasing their debut EP at a party held at Juice Bar in Parnell on Saturday 12th May. They will play a live set to showcase the songs from ‘The Start’ EP and other songs from this new band. Static Era will also unveil their brand new video for ‘So Sore’ at the show.

‘The Start’ EP was recorded by award winning engineer Dave Rhodes (Blindspott, Stylus), and features four high-energy rock tracks. The EP includes the bands’ current single ‘So Sore’, currently getting airplay on The Rock.

“We’re really looking forward to playing the show and just having a party with fans and friends,” said Emma G, front woman of Static Era. “I can’t wait to finally have the EP out in the world, it’s been so much fun making it!”

The party starts at 8.30 pm and, with three support bands on the bill - Fire at Will, Doppler and A Beautiful Collision - promises to be a great night of live rock music.

Static Era is a four-piece rock band from Auckland. Fronted by the energetic Emma G, with guitar hero Chris Yong (Tadpole/Redline), Dave Rhodes (Stylus) on drums and Craig Taylor (Second Theory) on bass.
