After an exhaustive Rugby World Cup campaign and a busy summer touring schedule - including a quick trip across the Tasman to play six amazing gigs in Australia, The Feelers are refreshed and ready to hit the road once again for their winter No Need To Worry Tour.
Indisputably one of the biggest rock bands in NZ, The Feelers are playing six select North Island venues, to coincide with the release of their latest single “No Need To Worry” from the album “Hope Nature Forgives”.
In the past fourteen years they have created dozens of number one hits, repeated sold-out tours and their lyrics have become part of the New Zealand psyche, thanks largely to the song writing genius of James Reid. There’s no doubt that a Feelers show guarantees a full nights’ entertainment, playing all the gems you know and love, not to mention their latest hits.
The Feelers are especially pleased to announce songstress Annah Mac and her band as their special guests for the tour. No stranger to the stage, Annah has performed alongside international icons such as Kelly Clarkson and The Script and recently supported Gin Wigmore and Avalanche City on two of the 2012 winery tour shows. To top things off, Annah has had an incredible year hitting NUMBER 1 on the New Zealand airplay chart with her single “Girl In Stilettos” and has just completed her first national headline tour, featuring songs from her debut album “Little Stranger”.
The No Need To Worry tour will be launched in Wellington on 27th July at The Cossie Club, before heading north to play favourite Auckland haunts the Brownzy and Howick Club. Then it’s back down south to Pukekohe, and onto new venues in Putaruru and Taumarunui.
So leave your worries behind and inject some winter fun into your life – don’t miss your chance to see The Feelers with the lovely Annah Mac, playing some of NZ’s finest and most loved tunes!
