She’s starred in TV3’s hit reality show ‘The GC’, wowed the crowds on Australia’s X-Factor and performed alongside artists including Stan Walker, Ricki Lee and Savage. Now Jade Louise is taking her music career one step further, with the release of her own debut self-titled EP on the 12th of October.
Armed with a good dose of Pop and RnB sensibilities, a powerful voice and sassy attitude, Jade Louise’s debut is an infectious mix of dance-floor tracks and smooth tunes.
Making herAustralian television debut as a top 12 finalist in the groups category on X-Factor 2011, Jade Louise has already received some heavyweight feedback, with Ronan Keating gushing “I don’t think you can sell records in Australia - I think you can sell them around the world!”
Following on from the exposure, Jade Louise was selected to be part of TV3’s reality show ‘The GC’, which followed a group of young Maori’s living on the Gold Coast. Her first single ‘Vibrations’, featuring internationally acclaimed NZ Hip-hop artist Savage, was also selected as the show’s theme song – and with it’s release, launched straight to number 1 in the New Zealand iTunes charts, aswell as charting in the official New Zealand Top 10.
High energy dance track and second single off the album ‘Till The Club Close’ also features on the credits of new NZ-Based reality show, ‘The Ridges’, and is set to propel Jade further into the limelight.
With a remix by PNC of standout track, ‘Vibrations’, as well as guest spot by X-Factor competitor Lazy J and of course Savage, Jade Louise is keeping good company on her debut EP.
Jade Louise teams up with up and coming DNK World Music artist Donell Lewis for a combined EP release show, at Auckland’s Flight Lounge on the 11th of October.
