Gig & Concert News - The Waihi Beach Hotel Summer Festival First Announcement

The Waihi Beach Hotel Summer Festival First Announcement

23 October 2012 - 0 Comments

Once again New Zealand’s most iconic beach pub plays host to a summer full of packed out gigs.

Under new management, the summer of 2012/13 is destined to be remembered as the summer of legends at the Waihi Beach Hotel.

This year the big top sessions are extended over 6 dates from December 22 to January 5.  The garden bar and car park will be transformed to bring you a variety of food outlets, a boutique brewery with winery and cider, and lots more fun.  The big top will create a festival village with shelter from the elements and guarantee the shows will go off rain, hail or shine.

For the first time ever there will be a Backroom VIP ticket.  There are only 300 of these available for each show so don’t be shy.  First in first served – these tickets will sell-out.

The VIP ticket gives you exclusive use of the hotel lounge with viewing direct to the stage.  The area will cater for you with its own food outlets, full bar facilities and your own bathrooms.

Your ticket will give you free reign to wander in and out to stage front if you so desire and last but not least will give you free entry to the Backroom after party.

The Hotel backroom will be hosting an after party till 2.00am following each show.

The line up for 2012/13 is off the chart with a huge mix of amazing international and local talent.  Waihi Beach Hotel is stepping out with a lot more on offer than the usual summer touring options.  The atmosphere and the entertainment delivered will make this a summer festival package with a difference.

So wax the board, polish the mags and make sure you have your ticket before you head for Waihi Beach this summer.
