Sub genre rock enthusiasts have somewhere to go this week as every 1st Friday of the month at Ding Dong Lounge is dedicated to Punk Rock, Metal & Indie with some of the best bands in Auckland and "sub genre" DJs spinning tunes all night.

Power indie pop band Hurricane Kids and punk rock 5 piece Braves perform in the upstairs bar with DJs Bahador Borhani (Shotgun Alley), Rigel Walshe (Dawn Of Azazel), Fangs, Olly Green (Hurricane Kids), Dribbles, Jim Marshall & Digs rockin' bodies upstairs and down.

Recently opened Ding Dong Lounge in Auckland originates from the punk rock dive bar with the same name in New York City and is also one of the main live music venues in Melbourne. Auckland has it's own approach with weekly Rock n Roll Djs, plus a brand new gourmet diner style food menu available Wednesday – Saturday.

With special thanks to Ding Dong Lounge, rockers across the spectrum know where they'll be on the first Friday of every month and are sure to be there or be square, this Friday night!
