RUDIMENTAL BRING FULL LIVE SHOW TO NZ IN MARCH
+ SUPPORT GORGON CITY

Future Music and the Frontier Touring Company are thrilled to announce the return of chart-topping Londoners Rudimental to New Zealand in March 2014!

“Rudimental is making their obsession with live music translate to the dance world... Put down your MC-505 and pick up a trumpet!” – The Guardian

With a record year jam-packed with number one singles, sell-out gigs and massive hits – Not Giving In, Hell Could Freeze Over, Waiting All Night and the global smash Feel The Love – Rudimental took the music scene by storm with their debut LP, Home. “Feel The Love” debuted at #1 on the UK dance and single charts, with Home hitting #2 on New Zealand album charts upon its release. Bursting out of London’s underground in May 2012, the band – Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and Leon Rolle – have conquered the globe, the BBC labelling the explosive nine-piece live outfit “THE festival band of summer”.

Now, for the first time ever, Rudimental are bringing their full, carnival-esque live show to New Zealand. The band had Aussie fans in a frenzy last month, their sold-out national tour showcasing their party-starting influences: reggae, house, garage, hip-hop, drum’n’bass, rave culture and more. In March 2014 Rudimental will return to the southern hemisphere for a spot on Australia’s award-winning Future Music Festival, making a special visit to New Zealand for two massive headline shows.

“At its best, Home is a sumptuous, thrilling experience on a purely sonic level. There are absolutely zero boring moments here.” – Spin

Joining Rudimental in Auckland and Wellington is their FMF 2014 cohorts: Gorgon City!

With ludicrously talented producers in Matt Scott and Kye Gibbon, the butt-shaking beats of Brit duo Gorgon City’s massive single “Intentions” quickly picked up ‘Record Of The Week’ on BBC1 upon its release. Their debut EP, Real, delivered on the pair’s promise, a stellar mix of jungle, grime, hip-hop, garage and house. Diplo’s a fan, and so too are Rudimental – who’ve taken Gorgon City on a UK tour this month.

Rudimental have delivered more bleeding edge beats yet again with their latest song, a brand new remix of album title track Home – check it out at: http://bit.ly/1gXV6cq

With a gargantuan live show that knows no bounds, Rudimental are set to deliver New Zealand their biggest party yet. These shows will sell fast – get in quick!

Home is on sale now.
