Kiwi Rockers Armed in Advance and Bakers Eddy team up on their single release tour of the major New Zealand Centres in April 2016.

Both bands have achieved significant radio play with their previous singles – they featured in the National Rock Charts and look forward to bringing their latest work to fans this autumn.

They will play Auckland April 8th at Whammy Bar, Christchurch April 9th at Churchills Live, New Plymouth April 15th at The Mayfair, Wellington April 16th at Valhalla, Tauranga April 22nd  at The Hop House (free) and Whanganui April 23rd at The Riverside.

Armed In Advance (formerly Stitches) hail from Auckland and are a hard rock trio known for their heavy hitting riffs, soaring melodies and purposeful songwriting. They toured in 2014 with Villainy, in 2015 with Setting Fire to Stacey and also played in 2015 with These Four Walls, Ekko Park, Black River Drive and I Am Giant. Armed in Advance achieved radio play with their single Stay on The Rock in 2015 as well as airplay for previous singles Blood On Your Harem, Light and Shallow when called Stitches.

Bakers Eddy from Wellington burst onto the rock scene last year with their single Something Outside achieving significant radio play on both The Rock and Radio Hauraki, they won the Demon Energy drink Battle of the Bands in 2015 and consequently toured Europe. They recently gained NZ on Air funding for their upcoming single Wallbreaker. Bakers Eddy are known for their unique brand of energetic rock, infused with vibrant punk roots. Their live performance has impressed many and they have toured nationally with The Black Trio in 2014 and Skinny Hobos in 2015.

Together they will bring a dynamic night of rock that will help cement the burgeoning rock scene of New Zealand.
