It’s a good time to be
under 30, and not just because you have youth on your side, but tickets to
Auckland Arts Festival have never been cheaper! As part of the festival’s
award-winning access and inclusion programme this year the Festival has
announced special ticket prices for those aged under 30 years so the arts can
be enjoyed by everyone.
Discounted tickets are available for most shows with savings of around 20 to 30
percent. To be eligible for Under30 tickets, you need to be under the age of 30
at the time of the show.
Auckland Arts Festival Chief Executive David Inns says, “This year we have
added an Under30 ticket offering across a wide range of shows in the Festival,
to get more young people excited about the arts. Too often we hear of young
people wanting to attend shows, but price gets in the way. We’ve listened to
the feedback and are very excited to bring this new discounted ticket offering
to those under 30.”
Included in the Under30 offering are the four international theatre shows Cold Blood, Dimanche, Mouthpiece and Watt by Samuel Beckett,
as well as music offerings Estère
– Into The Belly of
Capricorn, internationally-acclaimed Los Angeles Master Chorale’s Lagrime di San Pietro,
as well as circus-cabaret show Limbo
Unhinged, Ballet Preljocaj’s Snow
White and the renegade circus superstars Circolombia in Acéléré.
